about

Kinship was created as an ode to the emotional realm that musicians expose themselves to when playing together. It is about the vulnerable world that we tap into when entering the shared space of improvisation. These songs are about my experiences in relationships, my desire to connect with others, and the need to express myself through music. I feel very close and grateful to the fiercely talented collaborators on this project, for without them none of this would have been possible. Thank you to Harry, Matt, Angus and Lewis for your friendship, guidance, and unique musical personalities. I look forward to making music together, for many years to come.
